5 Business Influencers You’re Not Following Yet

Today I’m going to break a sacred marketing rule: instead of using this space in an attempt to make you ooh and ahh at my insights or spark interest in doing business with Pregame, I’m going to deflect the attention to other experts who are absolutely killing it with their content.

I’m blessed with a wealth of people in my circle who drop wisdom on the regular, but these are the ones who are publishing content frequently and consistently in a spirit of sharing value, not just sales.

Check them out!

Michael Roderick

Simply the best-networked person I know, Michael is the master of connecting people with the right contacts and information. His expertise is showing thought(ful) leaders exactly how to craft their message for authentic influence and referability.

Pia Silva

As the most badass business coach in the brand game, Pia’s content has been on point for 10+ years and counting. I consider her my business bff and even though I have her on speed dial, I still read all her emails, binge her podcast, and belong to her Facebook group. Pia will not let you get away with waffling on your target audience or product offering; she knows that the way to make real money as a microbusiness is focus, focus, and more focus.

Chris Lema

My #1 mentor over the past year has been Chris Lema. He’s an absolute boss in the WordPress world whose expertise fans out to leadership and building robust digital businesses through sound infrastructure and real community. He’s been blogging daily all year, and every post is a gem. I can’t wait to attend his CaboPress conference later this month, sure to be epic!

Michael Anthony

Even though Michael’s content is about recovering from childhood trauma, his insights are universal life lessons and his I-care-about-you-but-stop-sabotaging-yourself-dammit tone is just one more thing that makes him my brother from a different mother. I consider him a business influencer because of the way he’s built his Think Unbroken empire: study his approach to content, landing pages, and social media for a master class in the type of hustle and creativity required for success in this space.

Kronda Adair

I’ve already been fangirling over Kronda for years because of her digital marketing talent and give-zero-f*cks attitude about hollow trends (and hollow people). She’s consistently ahead of her time in calling out what’s not working in work culture, especially around equity and diversity. I was delighted to discover that her podcast is a distillation of her best pro tips for productivity and building a business the smart way.
